I am a consultant neuroradiologist and clinician-scientist at Guy’s, St. Thomas’ and Evelina Hospitals. After my general radiology training at Guy’s and St. Thomas’, I undertook the Pan-London Neuroradiology Fellowship (rotating through Queen Square, Imperial and St. George’s). I was keen on neuroimaging early on, and completed an intercalated PhD in MRI during my undergraduate medical training, and was later awarded a coveted McKenzie Research Fellowship for 7 Tesla brain MRI research at the University of Melbourne. I am an adjunct Senior Lecturer in the School of Biomedical Imaging and Imaging Sciences (BMEIS) at King’s College London. My current work explores clinical translation of advanced MRI techniques — particularly using 7T — with a focus on high-resolution brain imaging (where I lead an emerging adult and paediatric 7T imaging service for focal epilepsy) and non-proton, ‘X-nuclei’ imaging (such as sodium MRI).
