Annual Scientific Meeting 2021

After much careful deliberation and planning the BSNR are pleased to announce that the 2021 Annual Scientific Meeting will take place as a physical face-to-face conference at the Royal College of Physicians, London.

At this time, there are no plans for any elements of the programme to be made available online, so you are encouraged to support the meeting and join your colleagues in London.
You will find further information below including how to submit your abstract for inclusion in the programme and how to secure your place.

There will be a Trainee Day on the 17th November, preceding the meeting on 18-19th November.

The programme will include eminent international speakers and well as leading experts from around the UK has been carefully developed by a pan-London committee, headed by Professor Tarek Yousry from Queen Square.

Abstract Submission

The conference committee are pleased to announce that submissions are now being accepted for inclusion in the 2021 conference programme as either a short paper or a digital poster.

Submission deadline: 12pm, Monday 18 October 2021

Registration fees include access to all conference sessions at the Royal College of Physicians, refreshments and lunch on both days, conference materials and a place at the 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner on Thursday 18 November.

Please note places must be booked before 12pm on Monday 8th November at which point places may no longer be available.

18th November

50th Anniversary Gala Dinner

The original Hotel Russell, now the Kimpton Fitzroy London Hotel, built in 1898 continues to be distinctively clad in decorative thé-au-lait terracotta and can be found occupying an entire block on the eastern part of Russell Square in Bloomsbury. Having recently undergone a £85 million refurbishment the venue seemed the perfect choice to host the 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner situated amongst many other well-known buildings associated with learning and entertainment.
Dress code: lounge suits.

Trainees Day

Queen’s Square will be running a specialist educational workshop for trainees the day before the conference. There are limited free places available and priority booking will be given to those trainees who register and pay for their place at conference. So don’t miss out!
