Dr Hamed Nejadhamzeeigilani

Hamed is a Consultant Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Exeter and obtained a postgraduate diploma in health research from the University of Leeds. He trained in general radiology at the Leeds and West Yorkshire Radiology Academy before completing a neuroradiology fellowship at Leeds General Infirmary. Hamed subsequently went on to obtain additional qualifications in Neuroradiology including EDNI, EDiNR and EDiINR.

Hamed currently works at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and has prior consultant experience at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He contributes to academic and educational activities at the University of Leeds and Hull York Medical School.

Hamed’s clinical and research interests include stroke imaging and intervention, intracranial aneurysms, dural arteriovenous fistulas and arteriovenous malformations.

Hamed has a keen interest in medical education, has led and continues to regularly contribute to local, national and international educational programmes and courses.
