Austin Health 

Austin Health is one of Victoria’s largest health care providers. Austin Health is a
tertiary/quaternary hospital and a major teaching and research centre with University and research institute affiliations, including The University of Melbourne and La Trobe University.

The Radiology Department at Austin Health offers Radiology fellowships, including a diagnostic
Neuroradiology fellowship. The fellowships are very popular positions, giving the successful applicant a wealth of experience across a broad range of diagnostic Neuroradiology.

Austin Health is a tertiary referral centre for the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program, has a comprehensive Stroke treatment unit, an active Neurology unit with expertise in demyelinating and neurodegenerative diseases and active Neurosurgical and Neuro-Oncology units. Austin health is the site of the Victorian Spinal Cord Service which provides acute management and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injuries from Victoria, Tasmania and parts of NSW. The Radiology Department at the Austin has a close association with the Melbourne Brain Centre and the adjacent Olivia Newton John Cancer and Wellness Centre.

The start of the new academic year/ fellowship is Monday, 5th February 2018 until Sunday 3rd February 2019 (though there is potential flexibility with start dates).
